What’s the difference between Honda Care Sentinel Services and Honda Care Sentinel Plus?
Both plans provide oil change coverage4 and benefits such as road hazard tire protection5, concierge emergency service6 and roadside assistance7. Sentinel Plus, however, also provides mechanical and electrical coverage8 for the term of the contract.
What happens to my Honda Care coverage if I sell my car?
If you choose to sell your car, Honda Care is transferable9, 10to the new owner. You also have the option to cancel and get a pro-rated refund.
When will Honda Care coverage begin?
Yes, you can include Honda Care in your Honda Financial Services finance or lease agreement. If you wish to purchase Honda Care separately, affordable financing is available through the Honda dealer.
Can I include the cost of Honda Care in my traditional financing or lease?
Honda Care VSCS are offered exclusively by Honda dealers. Just go into any authorized Honda dealer and ask for Honda Care by name.
Why do I need Honda Care if my new car is under the Honda Limited Warranty?
While the Honda Limited Warranty covers 3 years/36,000 miles and the Honda Powertrain Warranty covers 5 years/60,000 miles, Honda Care offers a variety of mechanical and electrical coverage11 with terms up to 8 years/120,000 miles.
Do I have to go to my original Honda dealer for repairs?
No. Honda Care is honored at any authorized Honda dealership in the United States.
Can I get Honda Care on my Pre-Owned vehicle?
Yes. Honda Care coverage is also available for Pre-Owned and Honda Certified Pre-Owned vehicles at the time of vehicle purchase. In fact, Honda Care is a smart investment when you are buying a vehicle that’s been driven before or you plan to keep for an extended time.
Can I still get Honda Care if I’m not buying a Honda?
Honda Care isn’t just for Honda vehicles. Honda Care also provides vehicle protection plans for non-Honda vehicles, administered by Automobile Protection Corporation (APCO).
How do I get a Honda Care?
Honda Care is offered exclusively by Honda dealers. You can go to any authorized Honda dealer and ask for it by name.

Coverage for a Maintenance plan begins on the purchase date and at the mileage on the odometer on that date. The coverage term is calculated from the in-service date and at zero (0) miles, and expires when the terms of your contract are reached.
